Our off the beaten track Rerwick walk is a shorter, up to 1h30 clifftop walk along the stunning and peaceful coastline of East Tankerness. Impressive cliffs and caves, powerful waves smashing into the cliffs or a calm sea, beautiful views, wildlife and fascinating history, Rerwick has it all.
Things we might spot: winter coastal birds, seals, orcas if we are very lucky. They have been spotted here last week!
Time: 10am start for a 1h30 walk.
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate walk on muddy and boggy path. Wear appropriate footwear.
Distance: max 4km/2.5mi
Cost: £10
Parking at Rerwick is limited. Transport can be provided from Finstown and Kirkwall in our 9 seater vehicle (£5). Let us know if you want a lift.
