Come Out and Play - Book Launch with Author Mare Sullivan 's book for Children

Celebrate the book launch of author Mare Sullivan's book for children (of all ages) Come Out and Play. She'll briefly talk about it's creation, answer questions and sign books. Celebrate local author/educator Mare Sullivan's first kid's book.

In Come Out and Play!, a pair of young siblings boldly venture into the natural world, exploring the Northwest coastal lowlands in every season. Their curiosity leads them on a quest for treasures, turning every rock, leaf, and puddle into an opportunity for discovery. Their finds are not just physical objects but also the intricate beauty of nature and the joy of exploration. With each page, young readers are invited to join the siblings on their journey, sparking their fascination for their own local environments.

Bio: Mare Sullivan is an award-winning science educator and nature enthusiast from Kirkland, Washington. She currently works with preschool through 5th graders at a local homeless shelter and an outdoor preschool. Mare believes there is no greater joy than exploring the world through the eyes of children. Her book, Come Out and Play! captures this spirit, inviting readers to discover the natural treasures of the Pacific Northwest.
