Join us for a relaxed, friendly, and safe space to write, share ideas, and support each other's writing.
You have the option of two classrooms - one for quiet writing, the other for more interactive writing - you can choose whichever one you need that night.

"Shut Up and Write!"
Are you looking for some dedicated, quiet time to write? This is a space for just that. Each session follows the international “Shut Up & Write!” model which uses the Pomodoro technique of 25-minute bursts of activity and 5-minute breaks. No workshopping, no sharing, no feedback on pieces—just writing.
Peer Workshopping
This room offers a space for mutual support, feedback, and for commenting and editing each other’s work in a group setting. Take the risk and gain experience through sharing your work and your input. Classes will start with a pep talk and/or a writing prompt, with time allotted for sharing work in small groups.
At WordLabs, we aim to provide a respectful, inclusive space where every writer can feel comfortable sharing ideas, feedback, and perspectives. We ask all participants to help foster a creative, open, and judgment-free environment.
