From Victoria’s Lamentations and Purcell’s Funeral Music to Bach’s Trauer Ode and Duruflé’s 20th-century Requiem.

With guest artists: Alanna Ellison (Harp); Jin Cho & Emily Richardson (Baroque Flutes); Paul Sanvidotti (Trumpets); Jennifer Day (Trumpet & Sackbut); Phillip Wendt (Trumpet & Cornetto); Walter Kipp & Chris Alfano (Baroque Oboes); David Roth (Baritone); Paul Tarusov (Sackbut).

Melos Choir players and guests perform a celestial program of expressive music for those who have passed using both period and modern instruments. Be uplifted by excerpts from Victoria and Bach along with complete performances of Purcell’s Funeral Sentences for Queen Mary and Duruflé’s Radiant Requiem.
