The PumpHouse is proud to partner with the national Ohné:ka Healing Project—a community-led initiative rooted in the Haudenosaunee Creation Story that blends ancestral teachings and environmental science to honour Water as a living relative.
Led by Melissa Brant—Mohawk artist, intuitive creator, life coach, and joyful storyteller—this special program invites participants of all artistic abilities to help create a collaborative paddle board mural reflecting our shared responsibility to protect Water.
Additional activities, including water testing and opportunities to engage with traditional teachings, will be available throughout the event.
The finished board will be proudly displayed at the PumpHouse alongside others created as part of this national project.
