Introduction to paddling and the Club
Intro to Club and Paddling
Date: Sunday, June 22, 1pm
Location: Lake Arbutus #5

Get to know the Traverse Area Paddle Club and learn paddle basics on Sunday, June 22, at 1:00 pm. Basic instruction followed by an hour on the water to practice basic paddle strokes. Chat, ask questions, try out members’ boats. Bring your own boat or let us know if you need to borrow one. Free — but advance registration is required.

Paddling is safer, easier and more enjoyable with a group of friends. TAPC hosts paddles throughout the season on area lakes and rivers including the Boardman, Platte, Betsie, Manistee, Pine, Pere Marquette, AuSable and Jordan.
