Keswick and the North Lakes, a fabulous setting between Derwentwater, Blencathra and Skiddaw - two of the more impressive fells that make up the Lake District mountain range - a destination for this trip that is long considered a favourite for serious fell walkers.
Lodging in the heart of the beautiful town of Keswick, our accommodation for this long weekend escape overlooks the River Greta and Fitz Park, with far reaching views to the mountains beyond - a homely lakeside hostel, recently refurbished and perfectly located for the adventures that await.

Day 2 – Hike (Drive to start point)
Day 3 – Hike
Day 4 – Hike (Drive to start point) / Early finish for travel home
Optional Xtra – Hike to an outdoor Infinity Pool for a swim before journey home

GETTING THERE

CAR
On-street parking is available on Station Road and Brundholme Road.
Station Road is disc controlled, limited to 2 hours (no return within 4 hours) with restrictions from 8am – 6pm every day. I will provide discs in advance for anyone coming by car.
Brundholme Road is free to park at all times, just a little further to walk to the hostel.
TRAIN
Regular departures from London Euston to Windermere. Bus or taxi to hostel required.
UBER/TAXI
Windermere St. to YHA Keswick / Approx. 40 min, 22 miles
