August Taste of History: Classical Art of Körner's Folly

On Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 10 am – 11:30 am, the Körner’s Folly Foundation will present our monthly Taste of History program, featuring Dr. John Hutton, Professor of Art History at Salem College who will discuss the fascinating art and architecture of historic Körner’s Folly.

The Körner family were major supporters of the fine arts within the Kernersville community and this program will dive into the ways the family fostered the arts by creating spaces for artistic expression as well as exhibited their collected works of art from around the world.

This FREE program will showcase several works of classical art collected by the Körner family during their travels as well as provide insight into the development of art and architecture during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The Taste of History program is held in the Community Room of the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitor Center. Program Admission is free and includes light refreshments. No pre-registration is required.
