Run for Roses 5K

This 5K event, first held on July 13, 1980, is for women only and is part of the Maryland Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Women’s Distance Festival (WDF) Grand Prix Series. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in this celebration of women's running that began in 1979 as part of the quest to add women's distance events to the Olympic Games. All participants will receive a long-stemmed rose at the finish line.
