Hymns of Faith, Pentecost Party

Many hymns have compelling stories behind their creation. For example, "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by Horatio Spafford after a family tragedy. Charlotte Elliott wrote "Just As I Am" after feeling unworthy of God's grace due to physical disabilities. These are just a few examples of how personal experiences can inspire powerful hymns.
Here is an opportunity to learn about the hymns we sing! Our first session will be offered between services on Sunday, June 8th in the Sanctuary.
If you come to early service, stay and learn about the background and hear the stories of some of our hymns. If you usually come to the late service, come early and join the party!
