Lantern Making for Loved Ones

Available on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

In rememberance of your loved ones there will be a lantern making activity.

This year to ensure there is enough lanterns, for those interested in making them we have a reservations system. Lantern making will be available every half-hour from 3:00 p.m. and last reservation at 5:00 p.m. While supplies last there may be some extra lanterns for walk-in inquires. Please fill out a form for each person needing a lantern. Please limit the lantern to one lantern per person so that others have the opportunity to have one for their loved ones as well.

At 5:45 p.m. participate in the Memorial Lantern Parade accompanied by Puna Tako.
