【什麼是Open Jam Session？】是指在沒有經過排練的狀態下，樂手們根據曲目的風格、和聲、律動…等，在每首曲目中展開演奏，在Jam的期間拿出自己最好的技巧或想法，彼此互相切磋，檢驗自己苦練的成果，也激發彼此的可能性。Jam Session與預先排練好的表演性質不同，對爵士樂手來說是臨場實戰訓練，也是不可或缺的能力，帶給觀眾與正式演出完全不同的感受及輕鬆氛圍！
