Step aboard Kid Local: Bus Local, a first-of-its-kind cultural experiment where public transport meets music, movement, and meaning. Happening on a BRTS Route 12 bus in Surat, this mobile event transforms an everyday commute into an unforgettable journey through sound, community, and local pride.

Forget traditional stages — the entire bus is our venue. From ONGC Colony to Sarthana Nature Park and back, you'll be riding with 80 handpicked passengers and two live artists as we reclaim public space and reimagine what it means to move as a city.

Curated by Kid Local, a youth-powered cultural platform, Bus Local is more than a gig. It’s a statement — a feel-good, zero-substance, high-energy experience crafted to normalize public transport among Surat’s youth and challenge the stigma that buses are “only for the lower class.” With a sound system on board and artists performing in real-time as the city passes by, this event lets art imitate life — raw, real, and radically local.
