SOLAS is a peer support group for those affected by the tragedy of suicide.

Our Goals
-To offer support and an empathetic community for those affected by suicide loss.

-To provide a network of concerned persons for the newly bereaved.

-To provide an opportunity for education regarding suicide and suicide grief reactions.

-To support each other towards healthy resolution of grief.

What Can SOLAS do for me?

SOLAS is open to anyone who has experienced a loss through suicide. Through monthly meetings, SOLAS members offer the kind of support that can only come from those who have experienced a similar loss. We are currently in the process of offering smaller private meetings. Follow the Facebook page for updates.

What Can I Expect?

Since SOLAS meetings are informal the facilitators are everyday Montanans who have lost loved ones to sucide, not medical professionals. We share our experiences from our loss to help ourselves and others grieve. All meetings are strictly confidential and serve to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide.
