🛑 SATURDAY, AUGUST 2 — 11AM @ THE CAPITOL
Nonviolent. Unified. Unyielding.
Governor Dunleavy’s reckless cuts to public education are an attack on Alaska’s children, educators, and communities. On the first day of the special legislative session, we gather to demand lawmakers override his veto and protect our schools.
Bring your signs. Bring your voice. Bring your neighbors.
But this isn’t just about one bill.
We are proud to join in Rage Against the Regime,
a national day of peaceful protest against the rising tide of authoritarianism, corruption, and cruelty across the country.
📌 When leaders defund education, silence dissent, and twist democratic processes, we must rise up.
📌 When governors sabotage their own legislative process to cling to power, we must rise up.
📌 When the system favors billionaires and bullies over children and teachers, we must rise up.
💥 We turn our rage into righteous action.
🕊️ This is a nonviolent action. Our power lies in unity, courage, and peace. We do not meet cruelty with cruelty, we meet it with clarity, community, and strength.
This protest is both local and national.
It’s about Alaska’s schools.
It’s about democracy.
It’s about us.
We are the 3.5% that can tip the scales.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
JOIN US. STAND UP. SPEAK OUT.
