STEM FUN-a different activity each day!

Unleash your inner engineer and artist! In this hands-on class, you'll discover the cleverness of hinges and use them to design and build your own unique, string-powered dancing robot from cardboard. Learn how to make your robot groove and move with a simple pull of a string! Our small class size (limited to 6 participants) ensures plenty of individual attention and guidance for all learners. We encourage younger makers (ages 5-6) to join in the fun with the assistance of a parent or guardian. 7 and up will be able to do most of this project independently.

Tuition is $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child in the same family. Registration is required.

Please note, the mall opens at 11:00. Some of these classes start before the mall opens, so you'll need to come to the entrance nearest LabSpace so we can let you in.. Park on the HyVee side of the mall between Ross and the car wash. Come to the mall entrance nearest the car wash. We'll have someone there to let you in. If there isn't someone there, just call (573) 645-0800 and we'll be right there.
