Mick Byrd & The Backroad Band at Gumbo Bottoms Alehaus & Gallery

The Missouri Ozarks is both home and backdrop to Mick Byrd, who has performed in Nashville, TN songwriter venues for over 25 years. When joined by other extremely talented, independent musicians, they collectively become The Backroad Band. Ray Spiller brings his cajón and percussion instruments which adds that groove at a tasteful volume. Long-time guitarist extraordinaire, Brad Edwards has toured, worked as a studio musician and owned a studio. Sharing the lead guitar role is another well-seasoned performer and very talented musician, Dennis Layne Schubert. Sometimes we have a guest musician! Mick was selected as a May, 2022 Missouri Featured Artist of the Missouri Arts Council, sponsored by Mid-America Arts Alliance.
