🌅 Sunset Hike: Saints Trail & Valleys of Annaya/Mechmech 🥾
Join us for a breathtaking sunset adventure on Saturday, October 4th! We'll explore the beautiful landscapes of Annaya and Mechmech, a stunning villages in the Byblos District. 🌄
📍 Hike Overview:
· Trail: We begin at Saint Charbel Annaya, following the historic "Saints Trail" to the monastery. The journey continues through diverse forests 🌲 to the springs of "Ein el Cha3eb" and "Ein el Mazraa," then past "Saydet Armich" to "Wadi El Kaleb." There, we'll be rewarded with an unforgettable sunset view over the sea. ⛰️➡️🌊
· Level: 5 (Moderate) - Feasible for families and children aged 10 and above.
· Distance: ~8-9 km (Circuit)
· Altitude: 1000m - 1150m | Elevation Gain/Loss: ±150m
· Hiking Time: ~3.5 hours
· Guide: Led by an ecotourism specialist. ✅
🍽️ Post-Hike Gathering:
After the hike, we'll head to a local restaurant in Annaya for a well-deserved meal. Enjoy traditional Saj, tea ☕, or other options (at your own expense).
📅 Logistics & Meeting Points
Departure Times (Sharp):
· 2:00 PM: Furn el Chebbak, in front of City furniture on the highway.
· 2:15 PM: Dbayeh, under Naccache Bridge in front of Demerjian Center (before Spinneys).
Pick-ups along the way can be arranged. 🚐

💵 Fees & Registration
Fee: $20 per person
Includes: Transportation, guided tour, energy bar, coffee and first aid kit.
