🥾 Option 1 – Hike: Bcharreh → Hasroun (LMT Section 8)
• 🚶♂️ 12 km through dramatic landscapes 🌲⛰️
• Pass Bekaakafra, the highest village in the Middle East & birthplace of Saint Charbel, Bazoun and end at Hasroun village.
• Encounter 5 sparkling water springs, hidden lakes, apple trees, and panoramic views of Wadi Qannoubine & Makmel Mountains.
🔸Option to pass by the cedars forest of God. (Distance :14 kms)
Trail Details:
• 🛤️ Distance: 12 km - 14km
• 🥾 Level: 5/10 (Moderate)
• ⛰️ Altitude: 1,800 m → 1,500m
✨ Option 2 – Cultural Tour: Bekaakafra & Hasroun
• 🌄 Panoramic view over Bcharreh & Qadisha Valley (La Jetée)
• ⛪ Bekaakafra – Mar Charbel grotto & old souks
• 🌹 Hasroun, the Rose City – Church of St. Laby the Apostle, St. Mary Church & charming streets
• 🍽️ End the day with a delicious à la carte lunch
⏰ Departure: 7:30 AM –
Furn El Chebbak ( Burger King) and 7:45AM Naccache Bridge (in front of Demerjian Center, before Spinneys on Highway)
• Return: ~7:00PM
• Breakfast stop en route 🥐
