11th Edition VAPI HALF MARATHON

To promote running / walking among youngsters and seniors, & raise funds for our noble cause 'GIRL CHILD EDUCATION', the Rotary Vapi Riverside is organizing VAPI Half MARATHON for citizens of Vapi for 11th year.

The Marathon will be held on Sunday, 11th Jan 2026 & will start at 5:00 am from ROFEL GRIMS College ground, GIDC Vapi, Gujarat.

Venue: ROFEL GRIMS College ground, GIDC Vapi, Gujarat.

Date: 11th Jan 2026, SUNDAY.

Race Distances:

21 Km

10 Km

05 Km

Age Categories: (all distances - male and female)

Below 35

35 to 50

Above 50

I participated all marathon event of Rotery at Vapi.
I was winner in first marathon. Now I m 64 years old. I gave suggetion from last two years to add one more category for senior citizons. It will tough to challange young.Being senior citizon there are special benefit given in all sector. So please I request to do needful in the matter.

Currently we have an age category of 50 years & above for all 3 race categories. You can register anytime and still come first in resp. category.

Hello 🙏 I am 56 years old, and I have been participating in all the marathons since 2016. I really appreciate how well-organized your programs are for girl child education. My son wants to participate.
I’ve few questions.

1) he is 14 years old. So is there any age bar for participation? Or he can participate? And if he finishes podium, will he be awarded with trophy?

2) Is 5 K a timed run ? Or fun run?

Yes, all 3 race categories are timed run.
Age Categories are as follows:
21.1 km: 18 yrs & above
10 km: 15 yrs & above
5 km: 12 yrs & above
