Intro to Dahlias: Session 2 – Dahlia Processing, from Purchase to Frost and Beyond

Whether you're just starting with dahlias or looking to improve your garden’s bloom power, this hands-on class is for you. In this second session of our 3-part Dahlia Series, you'll learn how to:
Harvest and care for cut dahlias
Maintain healthy plants through the season
Understand pinching, staking, and plant care techniques
Explore the garden during an in-field demonstration
Presenters Dee Nutter, Sheri Karow, and Mary Story bring a combined passion and decades of experience in growing dahlias. Attendees will receive printed materials and resource lists to support continued learning.
Cost:
$5 for active RBG volunteers
$10 for RBG members
$15 for non-members
