🪖 Faction Uniform & Identification Guidelines
Northern Defense Alliance (NDA) / Coalition Forces
Uniform Code: Green-based camouflage and tactical gear.
Role: Defenders of sovereignty and international peacekeeping support.
Southern Dominion Army (SDA)
Uniform Code: Tan and brown uniforms with minimal technological enhancements.
Role: Occupying force asserting territorial claims under an authoritarian regime.
Mercenary Contractors
Uniform Code: Civilian or mixed attire to aid in blending with the environment.
Role: Independently operating operatives hired by the NDA, working under Coalition oversight.
⚖️ Rules of Engagement
Coalition & NDA Forces:
Must strictly adhere to NATO Rules of War. Violations—such as civilian casualties or illegal actions—will result in mission penalties or disqualification.
Mercenaries:
Granted operational flexibility and may operate in morally gray areas. However, actions violating international laws may trigger investigations or punitive measures if observed by Coalition forces.
📖 Scenario Backstory
For decades, the Northern Defense Alliance (NDA) remained a symbol of peace and resilience, a region known for its self-reliance and deep cultural traditions. However, this stability has long been challenged by the Southern Dominion Army (SDA)—a militant force that views the NDA territory as historically theirs.
Border skirmishes have long simmered without escalation—until now. A new, hardline SDA dictator has launched a full-scale offensive, with Newbridge Village—a strategic northern outpost—falling swiftly under SDA control. Propaganda campaigns have painted the invasion as a righteous reclamation, inciting unrest and drawing in loyalist factions.
Overwhelmed and under-equipped, the NDA turned to international allies. Coalition peacekeeping forces were deployed to stabilize the region, but delays in reinforcements left the NDA vulnerable. In a controversial move, the NDA has contracted mercenary units—hardened operatives motivated by profit, not patriotism.
Now, with the SDA reinforcing their hold on Newbridge, a critical counteroffensive is being planned. NDA, Coalition, and mercenary units must unite—however uneasily—for a bold strike to reclaim the village and turn the tide of war.
