Lit Chat with Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalist Kevin Sack

Kevin Sack is a veteran journalist and Jacksonville native who has written about national affairs for more than four decades and has been part of three Pulitzer Prize–winning teams. His debut book, Mother Emanuel, is not only a sweeping history of the first AME church in the South but also a profound story of courage and grace in the aftermath of tragic event that took place there on the night of June 17, 2015.

Kevin Sack will be in conversation with Isaiah Oliver on the third floor of the Main Library. An audience Q&A and a book signing will follow the interview, with copies of the book available for sale from Café Resistance Bookstore.
