Part of the UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust BeeWalk
Once a fortnight, join the Ranger to help with the Bees and Butterfly survey! Starting at the Visitor Hub, we will walk along the fields to Corroghan, through Canna Woods and A’chill woods finishing back at the Community Shop.
Please Note: Butterflies don’t like the rain! If the weather is poor, we’ll do a bit of ID practice and walk the route to look at plants instead.
Location – Meet at the Visitor Hub
Level: Moderate
Mostly flat terrain.
All ages welcome
Sorry, no dogs.
The event is free to attend, but all donations are gratefully recieved!
Occasionally we have to cancel activities due to adverse weather. In the event of a cancellation, all tickets will be refunded. Cancellation notices will be sent by email to the address you have registered with as soon as possible before the event start time.
