• Saturday, June 7, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 8, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Location: First Christian Church, Irving South - 114 West Grauwyler Rd. Irving, TX 75061.
• Auditions are by appointment only.

What to Prepare
• Acting Audition: Be prepared for cold readings from the script.
• Materials: Bring a printed copy of your headshot and resume to the audition.
Additional Audition Information
• Callbacks: If necessary, callbacks will be announced later.
• Facebook Audition Group: Join the SSG Auditions Facebook group for updates, sides, and casting announcements. We will contact you directly only for callbacks or casting offers.
Compensation for Non-Equity Actors
• $75 stipend for non-equity actors
• An addition, $25.00 bonus for SSG actor ensemble members. (To become an ensemble member, you must have participated in at least 10 different SSG shows as an actor, actress, or performer.)
• Two complimentary tickets for the opening weekend (subject to availability)
• Actor’s Pass: Allows free admission to the opening weekends of future SSG shows for one year (non-transferable; subject to availability)
Equity Actors: We are currently unable to offer Equity contracts.
Important Notes Before Auditioning
• Rehearsals will start in Irving and will later move to our new theatre at 3623 Decatur Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76106.
• It is advised you have a clear schedule for evening rehearsals and maybe weekends at least four weeks before tech weeks.
• We are committed to safe and respectful environment—bullying and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
• Cast members must participate in strike to receive their stipend.
• Health & Safety: We take precautions to protect our cast from illnesses (including colds, flu, and COVID-19) and may implement mask-wearing or other measures if needed.

The part of Miss Marple will be played by Nancy Lamb / Miss Marple – The famous elderly amateur detective with keen observation skills and a deep understanding of human nature.
Parts Available:
1. Letitia Blacklock – The owner of Little Paddocks, where the mysterious murder announcement appears in the local newspaper.
2. Dora Bunner ("Bunny") – Letitia’s somewhat muddled and sentimental old friend who lives with her.
3. Patrick Simmons – Letitia's charming but somewhat irresponsible young cousin.
4. Julia Simmons – Patrick’s sister, a practical and straightforward young woman.
5. Mitzi – The eccentric and dramatic Eastern European maid at Little Paddocks.
6. Phillipa Haymes – A quiet and reserved young widow who lodges at Little Paddocks.
7. Mrs. Swettenham – A nosy local woman and frequent visitor to Little Paddocks.
8. Edmund Swettenham – Her somewhat sarcastic and literary-minded son.
9. Inspector Craddock – The police inspector assigned to investigate the murder.
10. Sergeant Mellors – Craddock’s assistant.
11. Rudi Scherz – A mysterious foreigner who plays a pivotal role in the murder plot.
