In Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, our hapless hero isn’t exactly heartbroken when his dame, Eurydice, gets snatched away. But when the gods get wind of this scandal, they crash the party faster than a Prohibition raid!
With a cast of flapper goddesses, a Charleston-dancing gods, and the most famous can can to ever shake up Hades, this riotous operetta is a jazz-age romp you won’t want to miss!
