Friendly New Players Tournament (Second Coming)

Are you new to the Warhammer 40K scene? Have you played less than 10 games Warhammer 40K? This tournament will be the perfect opportunity to meet other new players and learn the rules with accuracy. We want our new players to be able to go into a game with anyone at any location knowing the proper rules to the game. This will also give them a chance to play against a plethora of armies. The hope is that this will breed confidence and enjoyment for the new members of our community. The next thing you know, you'll be ready to play even the most seasoned of players.

Who: Yourself and 15 other new players with less than 10 games under their belt. There will be a seasoned player at each table to assist with rules clarification and interaction explanations.

What: 1000pts of your favored army. We want to make sure you’re comfortable with an army you love.

When/Where: June 28th, 2025, in The Game Side at That Computer Store. Registration will take place on BestCoastPairings. You'll find a link to the event at the bottom of this description and in the comments.

Why: It’s super important to us that new players don't feel overwhelmed while learning so many new rules. Adding army rules and interactions to that can be stressful! We want each of our players to feel comfortable with the game and their favorite army.

So, build up a list of 1000pts that you find interesting, and we'll see you on game day!!
