Being a Cryptid means you are part of an exclusive club of wilderness creepers playing a game of cat and mouse with the humans trying in vain to find you. The truth is, it’s a game you play with your fellow cryptids. The game? Lure the humans to your hiding spots and reveal yourself just enough to keep them guessing and coming back for more. The more you tease them, the more myth you gain.

Twisted Cryptids is a medium-light card and action management game for 2-4 Cryptids that plays in about 60 minutes. Over five days, each with a Dawn, Day, Dusk and Night phase, players will scare, move, attract and extract humans in the wilderness. When dusk arrives, the area with the most humans has a siting, and all Cryptids hiding there reveal themselves to gain (or lose) myth points. When night falls, the Cryptids replenish their hands and move hiding spots to prepare for the next day. After night on the 5th day the cryptid with the most myth wins the prize.
