Stapleford Play Day 2025

Get ready for a fantastic summers day of free family fun at Stapleford Play Day (some activities may incur a small charge).

The event also celebrates the National Play Day with the theme of “Playing on Shoestring – Making Every Day and adventure” encouraging play at home and in the community.

Kids of all ages can enjoy an array of activities including free face painting and hair braiding, puppet shows, giant bubble shows, circus skills, cool science and creative arts workshops, climbing wall, donkey petting, inflatables, fairground rides and much more. Even the littlest ones have their own playtime. There is something for everyone.

Treat yourself to tasty delights from various stalls with food, sweets, and ice cream to satisfy your taste buds.

Don’t miss out the dance performance by Affinity Dance School and Louise Wright Dance School after the Opening Ceremony at 1pm!

Limited free public parking is available on site. Residents are also encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport to our events. This event is run by Broxtowe Borough Council in partnership with Stapleford Town Council.

Play Days 2025 will also be taking place in Nuthall (30 Jul 2025), Chilwell (5 Aug 2025) and Eastwood (7 Aug 2025).
