- **Event Description**: We are absolutely buzzing to announce the 3rd annual Marrapalooza, August 8-9th 2025. 

Starting in 2023, Marrapalooza is an independent festival showcasing the UK’s best grassroots music, held across 7 venues in the beautiful Ouseburn Valley of Newcastle. After two sell-out years we are delighted to bring the biggest event yet with Marrapalooza 3: A Thing In The North .

Join us for two days of performances and find your new favourite band among dozens of performers.  Let’s create a platform for the UK’s incredible grassroots music scene together.

This year’s Marrapalooza event is curated again by Portions For Foxes, Flat Four Records, Tyne and Queer and we’re also proud to partner with Future Collaborations festival. We want to make a festival that’s as inclusive and community minded as possible and we’ll do our best to keep this going so long as we can.
