Silk Screen Printing T-Shirt or Hoodie Class

Discover the art of silk screen printing in this hands-on workshop. You'll learn the fundamentals of screen printing while creating your choice of your own custom T-shirt or hoodie. This class is perfect for beginners and those looking to enhance their skills. Students should have some idea of the design they’d like to screen print. At a minimum it should be at least a hand drawing or for a digital design, please bring it on a flash drive.

What You’ll Learn:

Screen mesh, mesh count, the effects of mesh count on your project
How to choose a screen based on your project
Preparing your design on the computer using Corel Draw or Photoshop
Prepare the screen Coating and burning image
How to prep art for a screen
Setting up the screen printing station
Applying ink and printing your design
Curing and finishing your T-shirt or hoodie
Learn to clean up and reclaim screens
Class includes all materials including the T-shirt or hoodie.
