Music at Burnham Thorpe: Come and Sing the Nelson Mass in Nelson's Church with Nigel Short

A scratch, come-and-sing choir made up of MICC Friends, supporters, and anyone who would like to join will be directed in a performance of Franz Josef Haydn's 'Nelson' Mass. All Saints' is known as Nelson's church as it was where Horatio Lord Nelson was baptised and his father was Vicar. Nigel Short will direct an afternoon rehearsal and workshop (starting at 1.00pm), and then conduct a performance (at 5.00pm) with an orchestra made up of local professional musicians who will join the chorus. The solos will be sung by Tenebrae singers and the orchestra will be formed by a group of local professional musicians. There will be an afternoon workshop, followed by a performance with the orchestra and soloists conducted by Nigel Short.

This concert is being held in association with Music in the Burnhams.
