Explore one of the oldest buildings in Humbird! The Humbird Hotel Bar & Grill, built in 1869, has a rich past serving many functions for the community. Aside from being a hotel, bar and grill, the building has also been a small pox hospital, brothel, speakeasy, confectionery, and dance hall. Current owners Team H LLC, have embraced the history of the property and are working diligently to restore the building, collect memorabilia of the past and put it on display to be enjoyed by all.
On the tour you will learn about the building history, construction and future plans, notable members of the community from past and present and perhaps hear a ghost story or two!
The Day Tours of The Humbird are the only chance to explore the property without booking a hotel room. The tour will be led by one of the owners and will last approximately 30 minutes to an hour. Each tour is has a limited capacity of 12 people.
Tour price is $10 for non-residents of Humbird. All proceeds from the Day Tour Tickets will be put back into the building through renovation and beautification. Your ticket purchase directly supports the maintenance of the property and helps us to keep it here for many future generations to come.
