Stephen Schwartz, composer of Wicked, Pippin and Godspell on Broadway, is coming to Houston for Lone Star Lyric's premiere of his only opera, Séance on a Wet Afternoon. This marks the third production since the premieres at Opera Santa Barbara and New York City Opera. LSL is excited to present a starkly intimate production in a thrust stage that immerses the audience, seducing them into unwilling witnesses to the unfolding drama. We are also honored to premiere a new orchestration arranged by LSL Music Director, Robert Hunt and Stephen Schwartz.
