🎈 At the close of the event, we will come together for a balloon release to commemorate the life and impact of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, reflecting on her contributions and the future she inspired.

⛳️ 40 Acre Conference Golf Tournament:
This forum is part of the 8th Annual 40 Acre Conference Weekend and 4th Juneteenth Celebration, which kicks off with a themed 18-hole golf tournament at Hermann Park Golf Course. Featuring awards for 1st, 2nd, and Last place, on-the-green giveaways, the Freedom Pitch, an awards ceremony, and a special panel. The day will culminate with a tribute to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, including a powerful Juneteenth Balloon Release in her honor.
🎙️ Candidate Forum:
Candidates will have two to three chances to speak, including the opportunity to introduce themselves and share how they plan to honor Juneteenth if elected to Congress.
🗓️ This event is part of the 40 Acre Conference, a three-day gathering that brings together leaders, influencers, and changemakers. On Juneteenth itself, the conference will feature three major events, including this candidate forum honoring the legacy of Sheila Jackson Lee.
