Day of Commemoration of The Acadian Great Upheaval

The Waterlife Museum will be open on Monday, July 28, 2025 for the annual day of commemoration of Le Grand Dérangement, or The Great Upheaval.
Join us for a day of remembrance as we honor the Acadians exiled from their home in Nova Scotia.
Enjoy FREE museum admission and witness a wreath-laying ceremony by students of École Pointe-au-Chien on the Deportation Cross monument to commemorate this powerful moment in history.
