Antoinette Walker & Carla Potter Exhibit Opening

Encaustic painter Antoinette Walker and ceramist Carla Potter exhibit at Bunnell Street Arts Center from June 5 - July 2, 2025. The exhibit opening is First Friday, June 6, 5-7pm with artist talks (and in-person ASL accessibility) at 6pm.

✨ Antoinette Walker: Kodiak-based encaustic painter, born and raised on Kodiak Island. Practicing art for most of her life, with the last 23 years focused on encaustic. Her work is widely recognized and collected throughout Alaska, including exhibitions in the Anchorage Historical Museum and the Pratt Museum in Homer.

✨ Carla Potter: Montana-based artist currently exhibiting her work. Growing up in Southeast Alaska fostered her imagination and creative drive, leading her to pursue a BA in Arts from Humboldt State University. She returned to Alaska to teach and co-founded a ceramics school. Carla has collaborated on mural projects with artists like Roberto Salas and Ray Troll, including a residency at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and has exhibited extensively on the west coast.
