Join us for a unique community gathering – a delightful sit-down Dinner in the Street on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, in the heart of Old Town from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM!
This special 100-person family-style dinner transforms our public space and benefits the vital mission of Bunnell Street Arts Center, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Old Town community and supportive Homer businesses. Guests feast on a luscious locally-sourced seafood bouillabaisse paired with delectable appetizers in the heart of Old Town, Homer.
🚗 Getting There: Please park at the Islands and Ocean Visitor Center and enjoy a scenic walk down the Beluga Slough Trail to east Bunnell Avenue for dinner. Handicap parking is available at the Homer Public Health Building.
🧥 Dress Code: Alaska hardy! Be prepared for the outdoor setting.

This Dinner in the Street also shines a light on our "Giving Gallery," a virtual space showcasing donated artwork from collectors downsizing their collections. Funds raised through the sale of these pieces directly support crucial artist micro-grants like the Alex Combs Scholarship and the Artist Emergency Fund, administered by Bunnell Street Arts Center. 🖼️
Your appetizers will even be served on borrowed and donated Plate Project art plates! Plus, a selection of donated art plates – including gems from the Plate Project collection since 1994 – will be available for purchase through the Giving Gallery.
🌧️ Weather Contingency: In case of inclement weather, dinner will be served indoors at the Methodist Church. Any weather-related announcements will be made by 12:00 PM on the day of the event.
