The Thomas Edison Film Festival (TEFF) and the Hoboken Historical Museum join forces to celebrate Pride Month with a program of award-winning short films from the TEFF collection. This special program also features special guest and Hoboken resident, Randy Wicker. Randy is a journalist, an early member of Mattachino, a button sloganeer, vlogger, and trans-activist. He was honored as the Grand Marshall of the NYC Pride Parade in 2024.
The evening kicks off with a reception at 6:30pm at the Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson St., and will feature a portrait of Mr. Wicker produced by filmmakers Nicole Pometti and Rolando Nieves, followed by selected short films from the TEFF collection, and a Q&A with Mr. Wicker.
The featured films include, “Assemblages” by Martin Mulcahy, Chicago, IL, USA; “A Garden House” by Blake Douglas Young, LA, CA, USA; “The Bridges We Cross” by Iris van Dongen, Ambjornarp, Vastra Gotaland, Sweden; and “Old Girl in a Tutu: Susan Rennie Disrupts Art History” by Cheri Gaulke, LA, CA, USA.

The program is free to the public, and all are welcome.
For 44 years, the Thomas Edison Film Festival has been advancing the unique creativity and power of the short form. The Festival is an international juried competition open to all genres and filmmakers across the globe. The Festival’s homebase is the Hoboken Historical Museum where we work together to enrich the community.
