Crooked River Work Weekend

A work weekend that includes free camping and a communal meal each day. Come volunteer at Crooked River Woodlands (host of the Crooked River Gathering and the Ossipee Valley Music Festival) to help build a new stage, clear campsites of brush that accumulated during the winter, build picnic tables and more! Must be able to be on feet for 4 hours or more, and be able to lift 50lbs. We also would appreciate at least one person who is happy to be in charge of mealtime! Knowledge of carpentry is very handy, but ability to be positive, work on a team, and take direction is more helpful! We will be on site daily from 8-5 working, if you sign up to participate and camp over, we ask that you are able to work at least 4 hrs per day on Friday and Saturday, and appreciate anyone who is able to work more! This work is not for a free ticket to the events, it is for those who want to contribute to the founding of Crooked River Woodlands in order for the Crooked River Gathering and Ossipee Valley Music Festival to flourish! We have pictures of the stage and the work being done so far on our social media and website. We will have multiple work weekends in June and right now one in August.
