Mid-Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Walk at Brushy Face Preserve

When: 9:30am - 11:00am
Where: Brushy Face Preserve, 976 Brushy Face Rd, Highlands, NC 28741

Join HCLT for a hike during mid-spring ephemeral wildflower season! Some flowers in bloom will include Pink Lady Slippers, Flame Azalea, a variety of trillium, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, and more! Take a walk through old growth pine forests, fern glades, and over rivers to see these beautiful flowers bloom. Learn about local flora and fauna from HCLT staff, and enjoy a walk in the woods!

This hike is 2 miles round trip and considered easy to moderate.

Free & Open to all.
