Walk description: This walk will start and finish from the Tea on the Train car park. This is a beautiful walk that takes us through woodland up to the waterfall. The walk will take us approx 1 and a half hours and is 3 miles long. This walk has uneven terrain and a section of steep steps to climb so is not suitable for prams. We will take it slowly don’t worry. Walking boots are advised. Full site information is here:�

Getting there: Accessible by car. Approx. 30 minutes north of Hexham�
Parking: spacious car park. Parking is free.�

Terrain (what’s the ground like?): woodlands paths with stony and tree root sections, one steep stoney section. Walking boots advised. Can be muddy if it’s been raining. �
Refreshments: bring your own for a picnic afterwards. If the weather is bad we can go to the Fountain cafe.�
Toilets: Toilets are available in the Heritage Centre at the car park�
Baby changing: Facilities available in the Heritage Centre at the car park. �
Dogs welcome: Yes, if kept on a lead and well behaved around children/other dogs. Please respect those who may not be confident with dogs.
