My dahlings, the curtain is rising on something utterly divine.
It’s 1960s New York — the air is thick with hairspray, secrets, and cigarette smoke, and Upstaged is the hottest show off Broadway. Each night, you’re invited behind the velvet curtain into the chaotic, glamorous, and completely improvised world of Penelope — a starlet who’s been “29” for the last 17 years — and her delightfully dry butler, Cuthbert, who’s seen it all and still hasn’t cracked a smile.

Together, they’ll spin up a never before seen, brand-new sitcom episode on the spot — complete with special guest stars who pop in like nosy neighbors and surprise lovers, wreaking havoc in all the best ways. Every show is a never-before-seen, never-to-be-seen-again masterpiece of mischief, melodrama, and martinis.
No scripts. No safety net. Just sparkling wit, towering egos, and the occasional completely improvised song about tax evasion.
