Knowing how to do controlled spins is a good skill to have on its own for your solo dancing, but at the same time it really takes the partner dancing to a next level.
Once you are able to control your own turns, it makes your partnerwork so much smoother and it enables a whole bunch of creative and playful moves! Knowing how to do good spins also improves your reaction speed for leading & following.
