Rubber Stamp Workshop at the Hayden Center

Unleash your creativity in this hands-on class where you’ll design and carve your own custom stamps—perfect for printing on tea towels and other textiles! You’ll learn the basics of stamp carving using soft-cut materials and block printing techniques.

What to Expect:
Sketch and carve your own stamp designs on a provided linoleum block.
Learn tips for safe and effective carving.
Experiment with fabric-safe inks and color combinations.
Print your unique designs onto cotton tea towels to take home.
By the end of class, you’ll have your own hand-carved stamp, a printed tea towel, and the skills to keep printing at home.

All materials are provided, including carving tools, ink, and tea towels.
No experience necessary!
