We are very excited to announce a series of pottery workshops with Helen Bowen. Join us at Trove for our first "Make & Gather" event, a ceramics workshop and glazing session. Beautiful table scaping with your completed tableware, great company with a shared picnic dinner to follow.
Hand built Tableware Workshop: May 6th 2025, 6.00pm - 9.00pm, Trove, Fishguard
In this workshop you will create hand-built, Tableware pieces, including a plate, a small bowl and a small water cup. After drying out completely, Helen will fire your pieces in her kiln to around 1000°C to be decorated and glazed in the next session.
Decoration & Glazing session: May 20th 2025, 6.00pm - 9.00pm, Trove, Fishguard
In this session you will decorate and glaze your fired pieces ready for the final firing, where Helen will fire them in her kiln to 1240°C to be used at the gathering, the following week, on 27th May.
Gathering & Dinner: May 27th 2025, 6.30pm for 7.00pm, Trove, Fishguard
We will all gather and enjoy a shared picnic dinner together, using all of your beautiful tableware.
Drinks can be purchased from the lovely Trove ladies!
Ticket price: £125 per person, includes all three sessions, clay, glaze, materials. 2 x firings and gathering.
