Keir Starmer’s Labour government are just like Tories, if not worse! Workers face a cost-of-living crisis and cuts to services, to pay for increased spending on war and to suck up to Trump and the millionaires. And Labour support Israel’s genocide against Gaza; scapegoat refugees, migrants and trans+ people; and abandon climate change targets. Starmer has opened the door to Farage.

There is no hope with Labour. We urgently need to build a left alternative to make the case for socialist policies. Will the unions lead a fightback? What are the prospects for a new national electoral initiative? Can we build a left force across Sussex and Hastings?
