Session 1. Brief overview of work done so far in working groups and campaigns, and a discussion on the national situation and deciding our next steps.
Session 2. This economy is killing us. How do we get an economy that works for all?
We have been told for the past 40 years that there is only one way to run the economy, that profit is god, the rich are our betters, and business knows best. But of course there are other ways and this is a chance to dip our toes into different economic theories including: , Modern Monetary Theory, Keynesianism, the Preston model, doughnut economics, Marxism etc.
Session 3: Community Organising
We want to build a new left party that goes beyond standing in elections and is rooted in grassroots campaigning, so we will be discussing how to build power and win real victories in workplaces and communities.
