Starmer’s Labour Party is moving rapidly to the right – implementing cuts and austerity, scapegoating migrants and refugees, supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza, abandoning minimal promises to combat climate change. No wonder many people are looking at the Green Party as a realistic alternative.

But how radical are the Greens? If millions more people vote Green, could we see fundamental change? Should socialists back, or even join, the Greens?
