Join Lincoln Park Zoo and other community scientists across Chicago to explore Kilbourn Park after dark! You’ll use the iNaturalist app to log wildlife sightings—bats, birds, bugs, plants, whatever you spot. It's an easy way to do real science and learn about the nature right in your neighborhood.

🏆 Prizes go to the parks with the most species logged and the most participants—so every observation counts!

We'll provide bat detectors, and iNaturalist helps ID what you find. Stick to one spot or wander the park—just record what you see or hear before we wrap up at 10 PM.
